Our client is recognized as a leader in the consumer services business! This client has a need for a Microsoft SharePoint Developer responsible for performing the analysis, design, development, and implementation of an enterprise-wide SharePoint web environment. You will be part of a team responsible for the overall SharePoint implementation to support the company’s internal and external web presence. As a team member, you will interact with various business units, operational development teams, project managers, departments, senior management, and external vendors. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for determining the strategic direction of the corporation web site. To succeed in this role, candidate must be able to establish technical credibility quickly. Candidate must not be afraid of the details, keen to learn what the business does, how they do it, why it is done, and how to improve the organization and make it better.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Implement the strategic plan for support of company’s future web presence.
- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company’s web content.
- Support effective and efficient business processes in partnership with various departments.
- Ensures appropriate integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment.
- Trains and assists in the development of personnel, encouraging cross-training efforts to build team technical skill sets.
- Perform team and project management functions as needed.
- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
Required Technical Skills:
- 7+ years Information Technology experience;
- 2+ years of solid SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) development experience;
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft C# and .NET technologies;
- Demonstrated understanding and usage of object oriented design principles;
- Prior participation in a SharePoint entire product development life cycle;
- SQLServer 2000/2005/2008, SQL and T-SQL comprehension;
- Proven team oriented developer with demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions on time;
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
- Excellent skills in managing executive expectations; People and interpersonal skills.
– Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
Educational Skills:
- BS or BA, desirable. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant analytical field.
